Your first facial, start to finish
- A licensed esthetician reviews your skin, history, and any products or medications you use.
- You agree on the treatment and the price before anything starts.
- Treatment time runs about 30 minutes for a peel and about 45 minutes for a HydraFacial.
- You leave with written aftercare and, if a series makes sense, a suggested spacing.
Preparation and aftercare
- Arrive with clean, bare skin and no makeup.
- Pause retinoids and strong exfoliating acids in the days before a peel unless your provider says otherwise.
- Skip sun exposure and tanning before and after treatment.
- Wear SPF daily afterwards, especially following a peel or microneedling.
- Let peeling skin shed on its own rather than picking at it.

Who these treatments suit
Facials at SKIN Las Vegas are performed by licensed estheticians and are suited to most adult skin types. Tell your provider if you are pregnant or nursing, are using isotretinoin or prescription retinoids, have active cold sores, open or irritated skin in the treatment area, a recent sunburn, or a history of keloid scarring. Any of those may mean rescheduling or choosing a gentler treatment. We are a med spa, not a dermatology practice, so persistent or severe skin conditions may be better handled by a physician first.
